    Front Desk Receptionist
    Looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent customer service and computer skills to join a busy medical practice working at the front desk. 24-40 hours a week depending on experience with competitive compensation and benefits.

    Previous medical office experience required.
    Insurance knowledge regarding prior authorizations preferred.
    Previous experience with billing a bonus.

    Job Description:
    Answer multi-line phone system receive and prioritize appointment scheduling requests based on clinic protocols
    Direct and respond to inquiries and register new patients and schedule appointments
    Greet patients in a friendly manner to create a comfortable and helpful environment
    Monitor waiting time to inform patients here for appointments of potential delays
    Obtain and/or confirm demographic and billing information
    Collect amounts due and co-pays from patients, issue receipt and record payment
    Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
    Ability to multi-task Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with service excellence
    Ability to look up and explain insurance benefits when needed
